    Institute of Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies

    State University of Tbilisi (Georgia)

    Following a demand by the Institute of Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, State University of Tbilisi, the KIKPE Foundation provided the institution with multiple copies of a series of course books for learning the Greek language, to be used by the students of the Department of Modern Greek.

    The KIKPE Foundation supported financially “Ark of the World”, the Voluntary Non-Profit Organization of Mother and Child Protection that provides special care and protection for children and minors.

    “Theotokos” Foundation for the Protection of Children with Disabilities

    The KIKPE Foundation supported financially for the second time in 2017 the “Theotokos” Foundation, which is devoted in providing support and education, and promoting social acceptance and integration for young people with severe intellectual disorders.

    Yannis Stoyas (Researcher Curator, KIKPE Numismatic Collection) participated in the program “Can Byzantium become attractive? The Greek Middle Ages through the eyes of specialists” (Institute of Historical Research / National Hellenic Research Foundation).

    Course in ancient Greek numismatics

    The KIKPE Numismatic Collection participated in the course which was organized by the British School at Athens and took place at the Benaki Museum (with a visit of the participants and a presentation of the Collection).

    Contributions to the libraries of elementary schools and kindergartens

    The KIKPE Foundation supported financially the non-profit organization library4all in supplying the school libraries of distant rural areas.

    The A. & M. Kalokairinos Foundations

    The KIKPE Foundation supported financially the A. & M. Kalokairinos Foundations in running its initiatives of the Social Grocery and the Social Meals in 2018. These initiatives serve two hundred people on a daily basis and a hundred families per month.
