The KIKPE Numismatic Collection participated actively to the first ‘Summer School on Ancient Greek and Roman Numismatics’ organised with great success by the Institute of Historical Research (National Hellenic Research Foundation).
The National Library of Greece organizes the conference “Demetrios Capetanakis as a reader, and Capetanakis’ readers”. Speakers: Fragkiski Ampatzopoulou, Kostas Ioannidis, and Emmanuela Kantzia.

The Conference is organized by Corpus Christi College / University of Oxford and the Department of Classics / Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, with the participation of 28 eminent classicists. The Conference is supported financially by the KIKPE Foundation.
Public Central Library of Serres
On 28 and 29 April, Training Seminars for teachers of the secondary education will take place at the Public Central Library of Serres, covering four subjects of the curriculum: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, History, Economics.

Aiming at a fuller understanding of modern Greek history, twelve seminars on the Greek 20th century will be held at the Cenacle of the Society for the Study of Modern Hellenism (EMNE-Mnimon).
The training seminars for teachers of the secondary education that will take place in Larissa on 3 and 4 March 2017 comprise 4 cycles of curriculum courses: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, History, Economics.
On 3 and 4 February 2017, four Seminars will be hold at the Municipal Central Library of Livadeia for middle-grade teachers in the following areas of the curriculum: Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, History and Economics.
The KIKPE foundation supported financially the Kalogeropouleio Art and Culture Foundation in Corinthia, for the pursuit of its purposes.
