The periodical exhibition Chalkous, for Everyday Dealings: The Unknown World of Bronze Coinage had been presented first at the Benaki Museum (March–April 2006). It showcased a part of the KIKPE Numismatic Collection, containing approx. 500 bronze coins, covering a broad chronological spectrum, from the middle of the 5th century BC up until the foundation of the modern Greek state.
