The KIKPE Numismatic Collection participates in the exhibition “Medals of the Greek Struggle” The temporary exhibition “Medals of the Greek Struggle” was organised by the Numismatic Museum, Athens, and is housed in the historical building of the Iliou Melathron, at Panepistimiou 12 (30 December 2021 – 30 June 2022). The KIKPE Numismatic Collection participates in this anniversary event with four medals among the exhibits. Bronze (silvered) medal for Ioannis Kapodistrias, by the engraver Konrad Lange. 10 May 2021 Memoranda Numismatica Atheniensia 5 The essay Bemerkungen zum griechischen Münzrelief (=Remarks on the Relief of Greek Coin Images), by Wolfgang Fischer-Bossert, was published as the fifth issue of the Memoranda Numismatica Atheniensia (MNA), a series co-published by the Benaki Museum and the KIKPE Foundation.

The essay L’incomparable beauté des monnaies grecques. Les raisons qui fondent leur admiration by François de Callataÿ was published in Greek. It consists the first issue of the series Memoranda Numismatica Atheniensia (MNA), a co-publication by the Benaki Museum and the KIKPE Foundation (1st edition: 2016). The Greek translation was realised by Dr Panagiotis Iossif (Belgian School at Athens / Radboud University Nijmegen).

With regard to the publication entitled The KIKPE Diptych. The idea of ​​W. von Humboldt andthe concept of entrepreneurship-innovation in humanities, Nikos A. Kalospiros elaborates onthe theoretical context of development for these lectures. Enrichment of Public and Municipal Libraries The KIKPE Foundation, in collaboration with “Future Library”, an organisation with which theFoundation has been cooperating since 2012, will offer new publications by selectedpublishing houses this year as well, to twelve Public and Municipal libraries acrossGreece. The number of offered books regarding History, Literature, Essays, Philosophy,Art and Technology will exceed 4,000 copies annually.

Enrichment of School Libraries The KIKPE Foundation, in collaboration with “Library4all”, a non-profit civil company withwhich the Foundation has been cooperating since 2012, has offered selected children’sbooks, which were published in 2019, to seventy libraries of schools and kindergartens acrossGreece. These books were selected both according to their educational content and thequality and aesthetics of the publication.
